Avril Lavigne has reluctantly revealed that her self-titled 5th studio album has been pushed back to November 5th. Instead of being released on September 24th, the album will now be available for pre-order on that date.
Avril also revealed the track listing for the album:
- Rock N Roll
- Here’s To Never Growing Up
- 17
- Bitchin’ Summer
- Let Me Go (featuring Chad Kroeger)
- Give You What You Like
- Bad Girl (featuring Marilyn Manson)
- Hello Kitty
- You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet
- Sippin’ On Sunshine
- Hello Heartache
- Falling Fast
- Hush Hush
Avril has co-written every track on the album with Chad Kroeger, David Hodges, Peter Svensson, Rickard Goransson, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Martin Johnson and Matt Squire. None of the tracks which Avril recorded with Alex Da Kid or The Runners made the album. Prior to the release of her previous album Goodbye Lullaby, Avril stated that she had two albums worth of material and had considered releasing Goodbye Lullaby as a double album. She also considered releasing two back-to-back albums as her 5th and 6th studio albums. So there’s more than a whole album worth of unreleased tracks that didn’t make this album. Hopefully some of those tracks make it onto a deluxe edition.

Katy Perry has revealed her artwork for Prism on Good Morning America. Check it out below:
It’s not as iconic as Teenage Dream or even One of the Boys. It looks a bit cheap. Hopefully the deluxe edition cover might look a bit better.
Prism will include the following tracks on the standard edition: Dark Horse, Legendary Lover, This Is How We Do, Birthday, Walking On Air, Unconditionally, Ghost, International Smile, Double Rainbow, Love Me and By The Grace of God. The finalised track order is yet to be revealed.
Prism is out on October 22nd.

The standard edition of the album includes:
- What About Us (feat. Sean Paul)

- Gentleman
- Leave A Light On
- Not Giving Up
- Lease My Love
- 30 Days
- Anywhere With You
- Problem With Love

The deluxe edition includes:
- What About Us (feat. Sean Paul)
- Disco Love
- Gentleman
- Leave A Light On
- Not Giving Up
- Lease My Love
- 30 Days
- Anywhere With You
- Problem With Love
- You Don’t have The Right
- Don’t Let Me Dance Alone
- Somebody Else’s Life
- Wildfire
- What About Us (Album Version)
- What About Us (Buzz Junkies Radio Edit feat. Sean Paul)
- Gentleman (The Alias Radio Edit)
- Disco Love (Wideboys Radio Edit)
- Not Giving Up (JRMX WeLovePop Radio Edit)
30 Days made the album in the end. It’s a bit disappointing that we’ve heard over half the album since earlier this year. I was hoping for a 14 or 15 track album. The deluxe edition is almost all previously released material so it’s not the most exciting release. Tracks recorded with Ed Drewett and DJ Fresh also didn’t make the album so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a re-release/greatest hits album coming up soon.
