Olly’s video for Dear Darlin’, the third single from Right Place Right Time, was uploaded to his official VEVO account yesterday. You can view it below:

Dear Darlin’ which is co-written with Ed Drewett and Jim Eliot, is possibly Olly’s best single to date along with Heart Skips A Beat. The video is a rare occasion where the storyline stays true to the lyrics.

Dear Darlin’ will be released on June 2nd via Epic Records.

Avril Lavigne – “Here’s To Never Growing Up” (Clip)

Avril Lavigne has released an 11 second clip of her forthcoming single Here’s To Never Growing Up. The track was produced by Martin Johnson (Boys Like Girls).

While the title couldn’t be more Avril Lavigne if it tried, the sound is different to Avril’s previous lead singles Girlfriend and What The Hell. For one, she’s not singing high pitched chants anymore which hopefully signals a more mature direction. But still, we’ve only heard 11 seconds so that might not be true for the rest of the song.

You can listen to Here’s To Never Growing Up below:

This is Avril’s second single (first album campaign) to be handled by Epic Records since she left RCA at the end of 2011. LA Reid has overseen the creation of the upcoming fifth album which will hopefully see a return to commercial success for Avril.

Here’s To Never Growing Up will be released to iTunes on April 9th.

Girls Aloud have announced that they are splitting up. A message was posted to the official Girls Aloud Twitter via Twitlonger (very classy), straight after their final tour date in Liverpool.

Like the rest of the “reunion”, even the goodbye message was underwhelming. The message read:

Dear Alouders, we just want to say from the bottom of our hearts Thank you!! This tour has been an amazing experience and the perfect chance to say thank you for being on this journey with us through a decade. It has far exceeded any of our dreams and we hope we are forever your inspiration and reminder that dreams really do glitter!! Your love and support will stay with us forever but we have now come to the end of our incredible time together . Love you lots.

Luckily the girls are releasing The Collection in May where they can cash in another quick buck by selling fans the 5 albums they already own.
