Avril Lavigne has created a video by herself for her song Goodbye as a “thank you” to her fans and to close the Goodbye Lullaby era.

The video is just a low budget film shot in her hotel room. Avril looks stunning in the video and looks the most mature she ever has, which will hopefully be a sign of how her image will be for her next album, due out this year.

Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild” Lyric Video

Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild might not have the freshest sound, hence all the comparisons to her own Confessions On A Dancefloor, but it’s still a strong single despite it being generic. Her vocals, while not at the forefront of the track, are still identifiable and loud enough to make the chorus quite a good hook.

Madonna’s twelfth studio album MDNA is due for release on March 26th.

Britney Spears – “I Wanna Go” Video Premiere

Britney’s new video for I Wanna Go, the third single taken from Femme Fatale, premiered today on her official VEVO channel.

It’s definitely one of the best videos Britney has done for a long time as she seems a lot more normal, less frightened and shows some personality for once, especially in the little scene at the start. She looks “human” and more aware of her surroundings in comparison to the “spaced-out” Britney we’ve seen since the Black Out era.

Britney looks very Avril Lavigne circa 2007 with the pink streaks in her hair, and the scene where she climbs onto the taxi is almost like a homage to Sk8er Boi.

The video manages to be quite funny in parts, not only by Britney’s actions, but little details such as “Crossroads 2: Cross Harder” showing at the cinema, makes it less boring than her recent videos.

I Wanna Go is available now on iTunes worldwide.

Nadine Coyle – “Insatiable” Video Premiere

The video for Nadine Coyle’s long awaited debut single Insatiable, premiered today on 4Music. Like the song itself, it’s a bit uneventful and somewhat boring.

The whole video consists of Nadine behind a microphone stand with different backgrounds and outfits throughout the video. It doesn’t look like the sort of video an artist would make for their debut single, especially coming out of a hugely successful girlband. It looks more like the type of video an artist would make towards the end of an album campaign when its only purpose is to promote a tour and keep the album selling, but not with the intent of the single becoming a huge success.

Insatiable sounds like it belongs in 2004/2005 when the charts were saturated with a million Since U Been Gone’s. It doesn’t sound current and if it wasn’t Nadine fronting it, it would struggle to become a hit. It might even struggle to become a hit regardless of Nadine, judging by the reception the song has received so far.

Insatiable will be released on November 1st followed by the album of the same name on November 8th.
